On a lovely Autumn day not so long ago, we visited a farm near the farm of our dear friends, the Leos. There were so many pumpkins...
As far as the eye can see there were pumpkins.
There were monotone pumpkins
Show off
Some invited their more colorful friends for variety.
And these were just really flamboyant !
There were large ones and small ones, traditional orange ones and some non-traditional ones,
but in the end...
Polly and Big Red the Dog, picked the perfect ones to take home.
And so we left the rest for others to discover and take home

Big Red is gorgeous!
I quit getting pumpkins quite a few years ago. I do like the little tiny ones and grow them about every 3 years or so.
This year I scrounged up some fall silks languishing in my barn, added some more fake leaves from the dollar store (plus two really cute ceramic pumpkins), and called it finished.
Look at all those cute pumpkins! I do love the one chosen too. I love, love fall. Thank you for your sweet and kind visit. Big hugs,

Not seen monotone pumpkins before but then the selling of pumpkins is fairly new over there. Something that has come from across the pond.
We do not celebrate Halloween but that too is becoming very popular and I saw a store today taken over with stuff including blood spattered clothing. Wonder where it is all going and what affect that has on youngsters minds.
As children we just had 'duck apple night and ducked for apples in a large bowl.'
Gosh, they really have a great assortment of "styles". I'd just have to take some of each. Love going to farms or pumpkin patches in the fall. We did that when our son was little and now he does it with his boys. I enjoyed visiting with you. Visiting from Seasonal Sundays.
