Easter Eggs

Beginning about 40 years ago I began painting eggs for Easter. I chose a different theme each year. The process of emptying the egg shells is outlined in this post.

Here are a group of eggs I made one year in the style of the Italian pottery from Duruta.

I have several trees on which I hang some of the collection.

Some of the things I've made are flowers, birds, fairies, chicks, hens, and other designs.
This is a little portrait of my daughter, Polly, the Easter she was 5 years old.

One year I made some silhouette cameos.

Here are a set I made one year after visiting my daughter in Switzerland where they excel at the craft called Scherenshnitte. You can read more about this on this post, Schweizer Scherenschnitte.
