The "'Mary' gang" does a garage sale

After days of looking through cupboards and closets, we were ready to offer some FINE junque!
I mean we had some really great things. Only trouble was we kept buying each others stuff. So much for making room. (After isn't that the real reason for having a garage sale in the first place?)
Well,as you can see, we had fun and I believe our customers did too.
I think Mary made more from selling the delicious Italian plums from her back yard trees than from selling her other items. The plums are organic and so good this year. Don, her hard working husband, picked two wheelbarrows full. We bagged them in gallon zippy bags and sold them for $2. We had free samples for everyone to taste. They sold like "hot-cakes"!
Today, my two daughters came to help. We did a LOT of giggling as well as bargaining.
We didn't make a fortune, but we all went home hot, tired, and happy for having been together and meeting nice people.

YUM - Plum for $2.00 a gallon. I would have loaded up on them. Organic too.
