I just wanted to share this lovely bunch of lilacs that my friend, Mary, brought to me today. I wish you could smell them. To my nose, lilacs smell cool. Some flowers smell warm, but lilacs smell cool. Do you find it so?
I think they smell great but I cannot bring them into the house as they make me sneeze and eyes water like a lot of strong perfumed plants do these days.
I'm sneezing too, but it is such a treat to have them, that I just take my allergy tablet in the morning and hope for the best and that I don't run out of Kleenex!
There is nothing like lilacs. When I lived in New Mexico I had a yard full. What a delight! I can't grow them where I presently live and I miss them. I'll enjoy yours! :D :D
