19th C. Bunny

When I was a very little girl, we lived next door to two dear elderly ladies. These sisters were old maid teachers. One of the had been my father's Latin teacher in high school. The other sister taught English. They were very fond of me and often asked me to come over to their tea parties. I loved to pass napkins and eat cookies.
One Easter they gave me this lovely white porcelain rabbit. He has been brought out every Easter for the last 65 years. He was given to them when they were children. So I don't know its exact age, but he has to be 130 years old.
These little Beatrix Potter figurines are much newer. I bought them for my first daughter.
