Father's Day

In honor of Father's Day, I'm posting these pictures my father, Paul H. Elgin.

First, with me when I was a baby,

Next with me at my wedding,

And last, my portrait of him that I painted after his death.

This is a thoughtful post and tribute to your dad. The portrait you painted is wonderful. You are such a talented lady! ~ Sarah

You looked so beautiful in your wedding picture. Love the hat.

Your papa was a very handsome man.

Your Father was a very fine looking man, handsome with that extra something that catches the attention to want to learn more about this learned looking man.

And then you share your portrait of him too - such a wonderful painting required both a wonderful father and a loving and talented daughter to paint it.

Dear Priscilla, I am in awe of both yourself and of your Father,
