Speaking of all things British, I've posted a little book that I wrote and illustrated while we lived in England.

I will be waiting until Saturday to watch re-runs of the wedding because I live on the West Coast and I'm not staying up to watch, tonight. I did that 30 years ago at the wedding of the Prince of Wales and I'm 30 years older now, and I'm lots smarter now. I really need my beauty sleep! Ha ha ha.

I really want to stay up and watch the Royal Wedding too, but I need my sleep as well. :) I'm a bit disappointed to not see it live as it could be a "once-in-a-lifetime" kind of thing, but I guess it's okay. ;)
How long did you live in England? My sister-in-law is very nervous and excited, as her husband will be attending Oxford University for the next three to four years, and she will of course be accompanying him. I myself am a little jealous, but totally understand her emotions concerning homesickness.
Your book is so pretty! I don't know if the pages are supposed to show up, but I can only view the lovely cover.
I hope you're having a lovely day!

We lived there 2 years.
I wish I could go back. I loved it so much. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. I've never been homesick for anything. Just tell her to embrace the culture and try to fit in. The people are wonderful and kind.
Priscilla, I'll be recording the event and then watching it later. I read each page of your charming book. Another example of your amazing talent. I so admire you! ~ Sarah
You have crazy talent, girl! XOL
Alas, we didn't get to see ANY of the Royal Wedding -- we were HERE but too busy with car rental and getting to our B and B to watch even a smidge of it!!!
Priscilla, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for directing me here. Words cannot express my sentiments as I read your book... I have read the first page just now and before I continue reading the rest I wanted to express my thanks for finding me. I'm fascinated with England, its history, its culture and its countryside....I want to know more about the Taylor sisters. Did you make these illustrations in the book? It is a work of art... it reminds me so much of the manuscripts done by the monks during medieval times. You are extremely talented! I will finish reading your wonderful book and I'll be back.~Poppy
