Irish Tea

Let me just say, I Love tea. I start my day with a pot of Irish Breakfast Tea every morning. My favorite is Trader Joe's Irish Breakfast. It is wonderfully strong and very fragrant. My daughter likes "nursery tea" (very milky tea). I like a moderate amount of milk and a tad of sugar. (Actually, I use Splenda)
The price is unbelievably inexpensive. $2.99 a box of 80. I've drunk every brand I've ever heard of. I still prefer this simple box of Irish Breakfast. On St. Patrick's day I'll be drinking this Irish tea for afternoon tea. I'll write about the teas I usually drink in the afternoon.
The Perfect Cup! Porcelain so thin you can see daylight through it.

Up-date: I have had inquiries concerning Trader Joe's. You can go to this page to see if there is a store near where you live. I've been shopping ther for a long time. They have a great selection of quality food. Mostly organic, non-GMO, or BGH.

Hello there,

I'm really enjoying the elegant simplicity of this post!..,

I can almost taste, smell and see the steamy tendrils wafting upward from your teapot and fine cuppa; enjoying the aroma of your early morning, Irish Breakfast tea!

Even the little details of how you and your daughter each respectively enjoy your own cup of golden elixer and Trader Joes tea is picturesque in a very cosy and satisfying way!..,

Thanks for sharing and joining us for our TTTT and also for my 74th,'Tuesday Tea For Two', this week!

Have a marvelous week and St. Paddy's day!

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee

I am so happy you have joined me for tea! I love Irish Breakfast tea myself and I almost always use Twinnings. I have never seen your brand here but I'll take your word for it that it is wonderful. I like the simplici-tea of your tea and I can just picture you with your daughter enjoying a cup! Thank you for sharing and I wish you a Happy St. Patricks Day.

Blessings,
Sandi

I grew up drinking "Red Rose" black tea, and have a very large variety of teas in my cupboard which I frequent every day!

I am a nanny for twin 2-year olds, and every morning, before I can sit down to read with them, I MUST have at least a few sips from a cup of my Tazo "Awake" tea. I would swear by the stuff, it livens me up better than coffee, and leaves me in a wonderful mood!

Truly, there is nothing better than a strong and freshly brewed cup of tea accompanied by a blanket, a good book, and a window with a lovely view to look out upon. :)

I'll be "joining you" for that cup of Irish Breakfast tea come St. Paddy's Day!

P.S. I suppose I fall into the same category as your daughter, as I like LOTS of sugar and quite a bit of milk in my tea. :D

Thanks for all the nice comments. Trader Joe's is a specialty market. I'm going to post a link to where you can find out if you have a market near you.
I like Red Rose British, but I've tried Awake Tazo Tea, and I really don't like the taste. I don't know what it is about it, but I really don't like it.

Hi Priscilla! We're almost neighbors *winks* I love me a nice cuppa tea! I've never tried the TJ's Irish tea. Thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a try on my next visit. Also thanks for following me! Now I'm following you too. Vanna

Sadly we don't have Trader Joe's in this area. Actually, I have never come across one, but most likely never looked for them when we traveled in other states. However, I have read many blog posts telling about the prices and selection at this vendor. Maybe someday will come across one. Enjoy your lovely cup of tea on St. Patrick's Day. Blessing.

Just a brief note but packed full of appreciation, for your post that you shared with us this week. This is a great tea for an early morning. I am caring for 10 month old twins at the moment. I am eager to see you and what you design next week.
Until then, blessings, Pam
