An article in Life Science gives 5 ways the time change may affect your health. Researchers have looked at a number of health trends surrounding the first day of daylight saving time -- including apparent upticks in accidents, heart attacks and suicides -- it’s unclear whether the adjusted clock setting is itself responsible for these health issues.
I hate it when the time changes twice each year. Evidence regarding the effects of arbitrary time-shifting on health is mounting. Supposedly, this thing was started to benefit farmers - who now drive tractors and combines with headlights. So, do we need to put up with this? Can cows tell time? I think it is time to take another look at the practice and maybe do away with it.
