Then my mom became a grandma and her violets went wild. She would give them to me and they would die. Then my stepson had his first child making me a sort of "quasi" grandma. My violets flourished. I think there's a connection.Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01562944653624224107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7206384413441398525.post-40790705625238183792012-01-28T09:02:21.541-08:002012-01-28T09:02:21.541-08:00I think they are the easiest house plants there ar...I think they are the easiest house plants there are. When I forget to water them for a week or two, the forgive me. When I forget to feed them, they just just stick out their pretty little tongues and quit blooming for a while. When I put them in dark rooms, they don't seem to mind. I love them, too.
You should try again, they are so forgiving. Do try using the VF-11 mentioned in my reply to Adrienne, above. It works miracles on everything.Priscillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06608220774640074166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7206384413441398525.post-31306660637818727722012-01-28T08:52:03.657-08:002012-01-28T08:52:03.657-08:00I have no luck with violets, but love them. I decided to decorate my room in purple and began collecting china painted with violets. I have way too many and I'm getting ready to get rid of most of them. I'm think about giving a violet tea party and giving each guest with a cup and saucer as a party favor.
What do you feed your violets. I use VF-11 . That stuff is amazing. I've use it on absolutely everything for years.Priscillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06608220774640074166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7206384413441398525.post-89640761316341213552012-01-27T17:08:39.165-08:002012-01-27T17:08:39.165-08:00I'm planning on getting another violet. I was giving the darn plants to everyone and pretty soon people were avoiding me like they do people that grow zucchini.

One day I got up and said "no more" and out they all went. I'm thinking one larger pot with two or three violets would be nice.Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01562944653624224107noreply@blogger.com
